Feeling Jolly? "Christmas in July" - Saturday 21st July 2012

This turned out to be a beautiful sunny winters day with autum leaves covering the ground and bare vines visible for as far as one could see only thing missing was snow :-)

A small group of ladies enjoyed the Christmas fare that was to die for and very fitting for an Aussie winter event.  Fairbrossen released their new vintage with this meal and it was enjoyed by the cosy group of faithful patrons, the wine choices complimented the food perfectly all I can say is we plan to go again soon.  Thanks to the members of our group that joined in as always great fun was had and lots of laughs and we all appreciated the friendships this sort of outing fosters.

Photos to come soon.

Another perfect warm summers night, picnic blanket, chair, chilled wine, chicken n salad, fresh fruit and cheese... this was the menu share by Anne, Caroline, Brian, Jenny M-T and Debbie as we enjoyed a great family concert and entertainment.

Great company and perfect picnic
Lots of children, adults, and grandparents all dancing without a care in the world to the songs and music of the "Beach Boys" and other very 70's Summer Hits.  A very relaxing top tapping evening and perfectly located by the beautiful Swan River.

Kids, Parents and Grandparents all dancing

Comedy Under the Stars Free Concert, Scarborough - Friday 3rd February 2012

This was a very funny and entertaining evening which saw Debbie, Jenny Mac, Lynn K and Joe all perched on the top ring of the Scarborough Beach Amphitheatre for a rather hillarious evening of comedy.  The event was very popular despite the forecast saying "rain"...well it didn't eventuate and turned out to be a perfect summers evening spent at the beach.

Well worth the effort to attend we took some drinks and nibbles and made quite a party of it... a free event from the City of Stirling and should be on the calendar for next year with fresh new comedians.  Great night Joe, very much enjoy by all.

Photos to come :-)

Christmas Drinks at Maylands - Sunday 18th December 2011

"Merry Christmas" everyone is a good intro salutation for this event, with perfect weather to bless us.

The event was well attended with about 20+ members both past and present turning out to enjoy the very social Christmas camaraderie on offer.

Everyone was relaxed and social with many fast and furious converstations all going at once as everyone caught up with individuals goings on.

The menu on offer was cheap and varied to suit all tastes and budgets with the $10.00 BBQ being the most popular as it was cooked for you to your personal liking... perfect in everyway.  And lets not forget the very memorable Chilli Mussels, they were a treat to enjoy!

The Music was entertaining as always however a few felt if was a little bit loud mostly attributed to the position of our table right in line for the full blast of the speakers... never mind some things can't be controlled.  Over all a most pleasent and enjoyable occasion with a very festive spirit to enjoy.

Thanks again Mark for excelling in arranging another great event for everyone to enjoy, your effort is appreciate as always.  Anne thank you for taking the photos and sharing, the memories are great.
