Cheers Wine Tours Margaret River

Nev and I rode down to Margaret River to check out some wineries and tours around the area.
We came across a tour company called Cheers. I have to tell you that at $65 it was really good value. Modern air conditioned bus with an informative guide. We started the tour with a really good brunch. A choice of scotch fillet, fish or chicken cooked to perfection. The guides gave us a tasting and explained in some detail the tasting process.
The tour guide we had for the day was Andrew. He is a teacher at the local school and had heaps of local knowledge. We saw 3 wineries a venison producer and a cheese factory. We also took in the Colonial Brewery and chocolate factory.

One of boutique wineries ( Called Bettanay) we went to was run by this gentleman called Greg. He certainly was entertaining and he makes a very special wine called FIRST BLUSH ROSE. This is a wine infused with chilli. It sure brings a blush to the cheeks and has a really unusual sensation to the throat. Well worth getting for a talking point.

This is Bettenay. The top floor is a self contained Honey Moon suite.
