Harvest Festival in THe Perth Hills

This event was more “Spur of the Moment” stuff for Sunday 4 May, suggesting a spontaneous trip to the Perth Hill and down the other side to visit little known wineries in the region, take in some specky scenery, crafts, points of interest, lunch and most of all fun & friendship.

The next few hours till Sunday morning saw the numbers go up and down more times than a toilet seat at a mixed party as unforseen things cropped up in daily life for a few intended participants.
A smaller group headed for some craft exhibitions, visited historic “Levi Wallis Cottage & Stables” indulging in some hearty homemade soup & fares, rented a scarecrow crowd, as well as slurp our way though some interesting wines, wowed at the views before rounding the day off with mandatory cake and coffee.

If you didnt make it this year then there is always 2009.
