SPRING IN THE VALLEY - SUNDAY 12th OCTOBER 2008

Spring is here and so is the infamous 'Spring in the Valley'
A bus full of about 40 of us spent the day meandering around the valley.
We shared the bus with some exceptional 'young uns' that joined in and helped make our day pretty awesome!! Thanks

This was the first stop for the day, the Ironbark Brewery and Tavern. Some nice wines and beers to sample, great way to start the day (first drinks at 10.30am!!!)

Second stop and lunch time spread, makes your mouth water just looking at all that food again!
The Great Northern Distillery had lots to offer, shade, seating, slushie cocktails, live music and 'eye candy' for all ages and genders!!
The music mix of 'old and new' saw a lot up on the lawn and dancing!
We had a great time sitting out on the verandah of the Swan Valley Winery, sampling some white, chocolate and ruby ports. The sun was shining and everyone was in high spirits!
For a final treat on the way home, who can resist the Margaret River Chocolate Factory
(no not the orginal in M/River...the one in the valley!!)
Decisions, decisions, decisions....a hot chocolate, an ice coffee,
a triple choc ice-cream...
mmmmm, between all of us think we tried them all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to Karen for organising another fantastic event and to all those that came along to make it a truly wonderful day in our marvellous Swan Valley.
