Lunch, Concert and BBQ Brunch - What a Long Weekend!!!

WOW, what a great long weekend!

Some members went out to the award winning Sitella's Winery in the Swan Valley for their annual Vintage Lunch.

The day started with a delightful sparkling Chenin on the lawn (at 10.30am!) and followed with a four course meal and wines selected by Sitella's to suit with and between meals. We were lucky our waitress shared our group's sense of humour and appreciated our 'class' or more to the point 'lack of class' and filled our glasses promptly and to the top!

Thanks to Brian for organising a wonderful event at a stunning location.

Well Sunday night was a night for all those that remember how to 'boogy'.
Leo Sayer with support act Lady Penelope woowed the crowds in a free concert arranged by the City of Joondallup.
Those members of the group that attended took a picnic and a few drinks and danced to some of the 'oldie' songs.
A balmy night complete with it's own sky show of thunder, lightning and a bit of rain!
Thanks to Terry for organising.
BBQ brunch, what a lovely way to end a long weekend.
A few members went to Gail's for a long brunch, which started at 10.00am and finished, well, much later in the afternoon...or was that early evening???
Thanks to Gail for opening up your lovely home to everyone..
