The Swan Valley has a new addition to it's food fare....The Penny Garden.
Run by Jasmine and her mother, this true family restuarant offers not only friendly service, but big sized meals at extremely honest pricing.
Most of us sampled the pumpkin soup, a huge, steaming bowl served with fresh bread, yum!
Choices of mains were Steak and Ale pie (again tried and devoured by most of us!), Warm Thai Beef Salad and Open Face Hamburgers (HJ's should try selling Whoppers this size!!).
Thanks to Jeanette for introducing us to her friends and recommending a great spot for lunch in the valley.
We then 'rolled' out to the Margaret River Chocolate Company located about 500m across the road. Those of us with a sweet tooth (that would be all of us!!) sampled the chocolates and ordered coffees, cakes and some even indulged in a choc fondue!
Would have put photos of it up, but it got eaten before the camera came out, am sure you don't want to see pics of an empty plate???
Thanks to all those that came along to make another day wonderful in the Valley..
