After the success of the Spring in the Valley visit to Charlies Estate Wines, we decided to revist.
We arrived for an 11.30 tasting session. 11 wine tastings for $2 per head...what more can you ask for?
How about 20% off carton lots and free door to door delivery!!
(no that is not the Perth Social Singles wine order sitting on the back of the truck below!!)
Tony gave us all the run down on the winery and their produce.
They have a range of gift packs all reasonably priced.
Mmmmm but we seemed more interested in the bottles that went into the packs!!
Out in the grounds the garden is surrounded by grape vines and nice shady trees.
We had platters of chicken, ham, cheese, dips, chips all washed down with a tipple or two from the cellar door!
As the afternoon drew to an end, Rob and Adie invited us back for coffee, which extended to a wonderful improtu bbq and salads, thanks to you both for your hospitality.
Another great day out with good friends, thank to all those that played skipper and to Karen for organising the event.
