Train Trip to Mandurah - Sunday 1st May, 2011

Blurb from Tony re Train Trip to Mandurah

Well me and Janet went down to Mandurah the train journey was uneventful.
We got to Murphy’s not many inside but we decided to watch the footy match the Guinness was really great.
Ordered some lunch which came out on very large plates the Scotch fillet was excellent and very tasty, we had another round.

Thought we’d explore outside as there seemed to be a market of some kind going on, very busy lots of people milling around.

Walked up to the broad walk and back, stopping to get an ice cream or three which was tasty (oh let’s forget how much weight we’re putting on).
Walked around passed the Brighton hotel and back down the cat stop.

The weather was very warm for this time of year and the sun had a bit of a bit to it (wish I’d have worn a hat) a few more buildings looked like they had gone up,
It seems that progress waits for no one.

Thanks to Tony for organising the event and the taking the photos.
