Whilst out Saturday we came across Greehhills Inn a cute, restored hotel just 20kms from York. They offer accommodation upstairs in a choice of twin, double and triple rooms leading off the central hallway.
Ladies you’ll love the attention to detail in the rooms, boys you’ll love the fact there is a front bar downstairs with Foxtel. (Ask Rob how to eat a roast dinner in the dining room and watch rugby in the front bar – at the same time!!)
Dinner was 3 courses and the Christmas in July theme, so no guesses to what the roast was! It was nice to have the wood fire burning, crackers on the table and fabulous company. We were even treated to a rendition of ‘Jingle Bells’ by another group of people there in full costume having a Murder Mystery Night.
