Well Feb 14th, 2009 St Valentine's Day to remember with a difference.
It conjours up sentiments of flowers, wine, walking on the beach, romance...????
Well, we had it ALL!!!!
Thanks to the magnificent organisational skills of Jeanette and Cheryl, all the ladies were greeted with a single red rose, the men a can of red bull (we don't want them to have wings unless it's like the new red bull advert!!!), we dined on fish'n'chips, drank an assortment of wines etc, strolled to the beach (7 doors away) and missed the sunset (just to prove we are true romantics aren't we....) oh, we have proof at last, a pic of all the people on RSVP down the beach drinking wine at sunset.......even if it was us!!!
Due to our lack of romanticism we foiled the plot that Brian and Caroline had planned, to meet us on the beach with their own rose, candle and music along with a privacy screen to separate them from us!!
The night was fun, light hearted and all in good jest.
Thanks again to those that orgaised, helped and made it a wonderful night...
