Ellie's Tent. 7 February 2009

With the promise of being in Beirut, genuine Lebanese food and belly dancing for entertainment about 20 people descended upon Elie’s Tent to try something different. Most of us unsure what to expect. It was great to see some new guys turning up.
Seating was on soft spongy cushions and low sofa around a low table. This was to highlight the “dicky knees club” as a few members had numbness set in from sitting in positions best suited to 18 year olds with gymnastics experience!

Where is that Brian bloke.

The wine flowed and laughter filled the room. Traditional food was delightful and tasty.

Above our laughter music erupted and a delightful belly dancer entered with bells ringing jewels glistening and machete blazing the air with the right moves to entertain us, particular our men. Is that a tobacco tin. Les was certainly enjoying himself.
Then to the delight of our girls the men became the entertainment as they were coerce into joining in the belly dancing, very entertaining indeed. A great night was had by all.

Thanks Caroline for putting this lively event together.
