Margaret River Easter 2009

We sure are in the 'lucky country'!! The Margaret River Wine Region beckoned the group for Easter. There was a group of 10 of us that shared a great townhouse down at Prevelly Park area, within a hop-skip-jump from the beach and a short drive to some amazing wineries.

We welcomed back Pearl here in West Aus for a couple of weeks and who this week became a 'true ocker stralian' and celebrated gaining her Australian Citizenship.

The gang in the 'Deep Woods' of Margaret River.
Girls just want to have fun!!
Early Saturday morning down at Yallingup Beach.
B with his Mongrel Creek girls, A, A, Sweet P and J!!!!!!!!!!!
John being the first one presented with his 'Margaret River Boot Camp 2009' t shirt, care of B and C, there's a story to tell behind each of the t.shirts, if you've been to a lot of the club functions in the last 12 months, some of them will make sense..........................
A lazy dinner Saturday night after sampling some of the local produce for the afternoon!
By far one of the best 'new finds' in the region was Mongrel Creek Winery.
A great little place with a great wait person (aka C...who did a great job serving us all!!)
The Margaret River Boot Camp 2009 Gang!! Are we a suspect gang or what??!!
J and J chillin' out...what was that Skip???

A and L...........what sucked????????????
R and A....what old biker went putt, putt, putt???

Lining up for lunch orders at Woody Nook Winery.
A great venue, great priced meals, great vino, great staff..........just ask John!!!
B and C......shhhhhhhhhh, who might be listening???

If all Boot Camp lunches looked and tasted as good as this!!!

Mmmm, Sweet P is listening.............
Now you should see the Easter Eggs this Bunny dropped........
thanks for being such a great sport John!

An early farewell gesture from John as it will be his last trip to Marg River as he leaves us to go to Melbourne in June..........unless we can find a way to get him to stay.......a nice lady, a share in a winery, a win on lotto........hang on, has he done a runner already???

A HUGE THANKYOU must got to Brian and Caroline for organising the weekend away, booking it all for us, organising our T Shirts and all the 'little' behind the scene things that we all take for granted. You both a the true spirit of the group, thank you.

And thanks to all those that helped make it a memorable weekend, we all had lots to eat, lots to drink, lots to laugh about and as always when we get together, we just had a lot of fun.

What a great weekend away!!!
