Villa da Vinci - Saturday 6th February, 2010

VILLA DA VINCI

With the late afternoon sky threatening rain, the outside booking for dinner on the verandah seemed a bad choice.
But as dinner-time approached the sky cleared up and dining under the stars proved to be a fun, enjoyable experience. The meals were wonderful, even the “lamb that didn’t taste like lamb”.
Despite the large meals everyone polished off their plate, except for one, who couldn’t finish the last piece of “the best ever Mexican Pizza”.

The group conversed on world shattering topics such as soccer vs football, coming group events and whether members could get a discount with the local massage therapist. Needless to say a few remarks were made at the expense of the therapist, who took it all good-naturedly. Good on you Jenny!

It was great to see new faces, welcome Sharma, Leonie and Greg and the return of John, an old member back from Melbourne (permanently I hope) and thanks to Caroline for organising.

To sum it up:

GOOD company + GREAT food = WONDERFUL NIGHT
