By noon on Saturday there was only Sherry and I game enough to brave the elements and head to Supreme Court Gardens, both still keen to go and enjoy the music and Indian food on offer we agreed to re evaluate the BOM radar images at 4pm and make our final decision. Well with the radar showing more colours than a rainbow and a musical deluge hitting on Sherry’s roof in the northern suburbs and the percussion playing on my tin roof in the Hills, My dog Axle adding his own solo performance in tune to the distant thunder and lightening we were battling to hear each other on the telephone :-).
Agreeing we both had our hearts set on a nice curry and some wine to wash it down we each decided to visit our local takeaway shop, pop into our local video store at the first break in heavens music, we then slipped into something comfy pushed our toes under the cushions of our couches and enjoy the renditions nature was playing on our roofs sipping wine and slurping curry while our chosen video’s played in the background because one couldn’t hear it over the bloody percussion of rain on tin roof and the dog!...
Sherry and I wonder what the real "Ramayana" and "Indian Classical Dances" would have sounded like?
