“Welcome to Spring” in Rockingham and Mandurah hosted by Shaz and Peter was quite a hoot a great blend of old and new people with 16 joining in for the lunch at Betty Blue Bistro and BBQ at Peter’s home. Sandra introduced us to Willium so we hope to see you join us regularly plus it was great to see 5 males with us and Peter B was certainly smiling and so were the ladies J.
We meandered along the coast towards Mandurah, walking out onto the new jetty, crystal clear water and kids on holidays catching plenty of fish. We checked out the new lookout at Point Peron this triggered a few memories for some people of past school camps. A little further along the coast saw us stop off at the kiosk and visitors centre to Penguin Island and enjoy, ice cream, coffee and say our good byes to a few people returning to Perth.
We arrived at Peter’s home in Mandurah and quickly settled in to some drinks and nibbles as we prepared for the BBQ tea and those staying set up their beds it was a great day, very relaxing and great company as always. Thanks to Shaz and Peter for hosting a wonderful event and sharing some of their favourite things in Mandurah and Rockingham
