On Saturday 22nd January the social club returned once again to

This restaurant has always proved very popular with club members and this was no exception.
Of total of 25 of us enjoyed an evening of delicious food and great company whilst sitting under the stars.
As many people pointed out to Brian, we couldn’t actually see the stars, but he assured them they were there, somewhere.
The skies had been overcast all day with a forecast of showers in the evening. Whilst we did receive a couple of light showers throughout the night, this did not dampen anyone’s spirits and the rain quickly passed.
The food at Villa Da Vinci is always delicious and plentiful and I think everyone was suitably impressed.
They give great value for money, it has a wonderful ambience and the staff are friendly, which is why we visit this restaurant a couple of times a year.
Along with many regular members we also welcomed new members Leah, Peter, Helen and Shirley and welcomed back several people who had attended their first event the week before.
